The three-point and pull type RC flail mowers feature in-line axles that can be adjusted to fit most row spacings. The cutting height can be adjusted using either a hydraulic lift cylinder on all models or a ratchet lift screw on the RC115, and RC118.

The semi-mount RC flail’s axle utilize a castor wheel assembly. The width between the castor wheels can be adjusted to fit most common row spacings. Each castor wheel features a ratchet link for individual height leveling. The semi-mount option is equipped with a full three point hitch attachment. Every RC flail features reverse blade rotation for finer shredding of crop materials.

The cuttershaft features heavy-duty, 2" (2-9/16" RC25), double-row spherical roller bearings for longer service life. Direct belt tension on two 5V-banded belts reduces belt wear and maintenance costs. The shield is hinged for easy access during routine maintenance. The RC115, RC118, RC120, and RC125 feature four adjustable axles as standard equipment.

The 10-3/4" diameter, thick-walled cuttershaft is computer-balanced for smooth operation. The knives are hard-surfaced with tungsten carbide for maximum wear and are mounted directly to the cuttershaft. The absence of "D"-rings eliminates unnecessary wear points. The RC blades are reversible for a longer service life. Adjustable dual recutter bars enable the unit to cut the material into small pieces for faster decomposition of crop residue.

The RC flail shredder is designed to provide fast efficient shredding of crop material including cotton, corn, milo, rice, wheat, and vegetables.

The RC120 and RC125 are available with a hydraulic end tow package for ease in transport. The narrow transport width allows the row crop shredder to pass through narrow gates and be easily transported on the road. The end tow package utilizes two cylinders to raise and lower the machine and a foldable tongue for minimal interference when the RC is in use. (SMV and safety lights are now standard equipment.)

The cuttershaft features heavy-duty, 2" (2-9/16" RC125), double-row, spherical roller bearings. The bearings are triple sealed for extra protection and extended service life. The bearings are greased through external grease lines for easier maintenance. An anti-wrap seal protector design reduces the risk of seal damage.

The heavy-duty quick hitch frame on the semi-mount and three-point units allow for quick and easy implement attachment. The semi-mount machine is equipped with a full 3-point hitch for raising the machine when necessary. Adjustable jack stands are standard on all semi-mount and three-point units for more secure storage. The RC flails feature U-joint side drivelines for worry free transfer of power to the drive belts. Easy flip up shields make routine maintenance easy and convenient.
