Rhino Unleashes New Flex-Wing Product Line

Rhino® is proud to unveil an all-new Flex-Wing line of products at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The Flex-Wing offers a sleeker design with the same durability customers have come to expect from the line.

“Rhino is always looking for ways to make our products better,” said Greg Pollock, Sales and Marketing Director for Rhino’s Ag Division. “So we’re very excited about the new Flex-Wing rotary cutter line.”

Some of the new features include the patent-pending, unique cast blade pan. Engineered for outstanding strength and durability, it also provides improved reliability in connecting to the gearbox; greater access to service areas; and smooth, quiet operation. The improved gearbox design, which includes a more stable driveshaft-to-blade-carrier design, offers more torque with the same horsepower than previous models. Rhino has also added a new pivot hitch with a locking clevis for easier hookup and full 360° safety protection around driveline joints that still allow quick access for maintenance.

“We’ve really streamlined the new Flex-Wing family design,” added Randy Webb, Rhino’s Product Marketing Manager. “The smooth dome deck is easier to clean and has a larger cutting chamber. There are three deck styles to choose from: Apex (10 Ga deck), Epic (7 Ga deck), and Icon (1/4″ deck).”

Contact your Rhino dealer today or call 877-408-3297 for more information on the new Flex-Wing product line. To find your local Rhino dealer, visit http://dealers.servis-rhino.com/dealers/.

Alamo Group, ALO, Announce New Alliance

Alamo Group Inc. and Alo today jointly announced a major new manufacturing and distribution alliance for their tractor loader businesses in North America.

Recognized as the largest loader manufacturer in the world, Alo has been producing and marketing loaders and attachments under the Quicke brand in North America since 1989. Alamo Group Inc. is the world market leader in rotary cutters and related tractor attachments and manufactures and sells tractor loaders through their network of over 2,500 Bush Hog, Rhino, and SMC dealers.

“Growth in the loader business requires serious commitment and investment in order to keep pace with the design, quality, and cycle time requirements of a fast changing marketplace,” said Rick Pummell, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Alamo’s Ag businesses. “This new alliance between the two strongest players in this market will pay great dividends in product selection and reliable distribution for our dealers and their customers.”

Loaders for the joint initiative will be manufactured in Alo facilities, including Telford, Tennessee, a former Bush Hog plant acquired by Alo in 2009 prior to Bush Hog becoming a part of Alamo Group. Under the new alliance the sales organizations of Bush Hog and Rhino will be the representatives for Quicke brand loaders in the United States.

“This alliance is the next step in Alo’s continued growth in North America”, said Urban Hadarsson, Sales & Marketing Director Alo AB. “Alo’s manufacturing and product leadership is an excellent fit with Alamo Group’s strong market position and distribution network in the USA.”

Consolidation of both production and sales activities is already underway and scheduled to be fully in place from July 01, 2012. Dealers should continue to contact their respective Bush Hog, Rhino, or Alo sales and marketing organizations for assistance during the transition.

Rhino, Wells Fargo Partners on 0% Retail Financing Program

Rhino®, Wells Fargo Partners on 0% Retail Financing Program. Below-market rates available.

GIBSON CITY, IL – Greg Pollock, Director of Sales and Marketing for Rhino®, announced in a July 9 letter to dealers that Rhino and Wells Fargo have entered into a program agreement to provide retail financing.

Pollock says dealers are already working with Wells Fargo, but the new program will allow dealers to easily quote a competitive monthly payment for established customers and prospects, the letter says.

The program can provide dealers with 0% financing on Rhino flex-wing rotary cutters and below-market rates for other products in the Rhino line. Pollock told dealers in the letter that, “Leading with 0% will differentiate you from all competitors and give your prospects a reason to buy today.”

The 0%-for-12-months provision for flex-wings will run through September 30, 2010, Pollock says.

Pollock adds in the letter that, “This is a simple process designed to keep you selling. There is no recourse or risk back to dealers.”

According to Pollock, Wells Fargo & Co. extended its role as a leader in the market by lending approximately $9.4 billion in agricultural loans last year. This is a very aggressive program to finish the year strong, and Rhino is asking dealers for their support of the program.

For more information on these special financing programs, please contact Greg Pollock at 800-221-2855.
